This thesis deals with the network infrastructure design for family house. The default aspects for the design of network infrastructure are house plans and requirements of the client. The work presents the theoretical knowledge necessary for further analysis of client requirements and design optimal solution. Part of the work are cabling plans, location of active elements and cost calculations to build the network infrastructure.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a computer network for a manufacturing company. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the company, its facility, needs, current network and the investor's requirements for a new network. The second part summarizes the theoretical background needed to understand the issues of computer network design. The actual design itself is covered in the third part. It is based on an analysis of the current state and includes the selection of passive layer elements, design of cable routes, recommendations for active elements and economic evaluation.

Content of this thesis is construction of structured cabling in the polyfunctional house, that will be built in Frýdek - Místek. This work will be divided into three parts. Into the part about analysis of the current state, theoretical part and practical part. The first part will address the analysis of current state of the structured cabling in the polyfunctional house and the house itself. The theoretical part will cover theoretical possibilities for construction of the structured cabling. The practical part will focus on the proposal of structured cabling, that will comply with all regulations and will meet customer´s requirements.

The thesis is based on the investor’s requirements and the provided architectural and urban studies. The first part deals with the company's presentation, the new headquarters and the new building with the investor's requirements included. The next part defines theoretical starting points of the thesis. The last part includes the final network infrastructure design itself. The thesis includes an analysis of the costs of the proposed solution and technical documentation.
